Journalists to be interviewed by Secret Service



Belfast based journalist Hugh Jordan has been invited to attend the US Consulate in Belfast for the purpose of interview. He is to be interviewed by members of the US Secret Service about the statement he made on behalf of the BBC, in the statement he admitted his involvement in criminal activity and that he conspired to transport forged US dollars on behalf of the O.IRA. Andrew Martin a former BBC journalist is also to be interviewed about the statement from Mr. Jordan.

Will there be action ( Legal Action ? )


In the Phoenix magazine dated 05-10-2007 the magazine accuses the author of the statement given to the BBC as an MI5 agent, it is expected that Mr. Jordan from the Sunday World will now take legal ation in this regard, sources are saying that Mr. Jordan is denying writing the statement, by saying that his computer at the Sunday World office is not protected by a password, insisting that it is one of his work colleagues that has written the email. Another source said that this could lead to some sort of industrial action at the Sunday World office in Belfast.

Trouble ahead for Sunday World journalist.

A number of investigations have now started into the leaked statement of Sunday World journalist Hugh Jordan, sources are saying that there should be developments in the near future, it is expected that Mr. Jordan will be questioned by US Law enforcement officers.
